Vinyl puts a photorealistic turntable on your Mac desktop, with original built-in artwork and optional live Spotify updates.
Features
- Live turntable — A detailed scene with spinning vinyl, tonearm, and original artwork, all rendered in real time.
- Spotify is optional — Vinyl works on its own. If you use Spotify for Mac, the sleeve and now-playing details update when your track changes. No account linking required.
- Lives in the menu bar — Can launch at login when you enable it. Close the window and Vinyl stays available through a quiet menu bar icon.
- Click-through — The wallpaper sits behind your icons and windows. It never gets in the way.
Vinyl is built with SwiftUI and AppKit, uses an App Sandbox and hardened runtime, and is signed with a Developer ID certificate.
