Keep Mac Awake lives in the menu bar. Its panel has one power button and a choice of no limit, 1 hour, 8 hours or a custom number of hours up to 168, and the icon shows whether sleep prevention is confirmed.
It keeps a MacBook awake with the lid closed, with no external display, keyboard or mouse, so AI coding agents, builds and downloads keep running while you are away. Sessions run on AC power by default; battery use is optional, down to a floor you pick. A session never starts by itself, and a timed session ends on time. A separate watchdog restores the normal sleep setting if a background service stops or hangs.
There is also a keepmacawake command for Terminal and AI agents, with a plugin for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Copilot CLI.
