MacQ is a tiny, native Swift alternative to Display Pilot for BenQ monitors. It lives in your menu bar and gives you quick control over brightness, volume, and input sources.
Features:
- Tiny native Swift process, about 4 MB on disk
- Input switching (USB-C, HDMI 1 and HDMI 2) one click away
- Live sliders for brightness and volume straight over DDC/CI
- Source aliases — rename HDMI 1 to MacBook, and it sticks
- Launch at login (off by default, one toggle in Settings)
Requirements: macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon
License: Free and open source
